Brian Casey

The phone number 020 7998 7793 that Collins and Casey provided (that nobody answers) which is listed to several addresses is also associated with a person apparently trading as Brian Casey.

The reviews of this roofer such as this on Yell are apparently very poor.

His connection to BNS Logistics Ltd and their 'approved vendor' and 'trusted trader' status is not yet known.

Transport for London

The Collins and Casey letterhead says they are a 'Approved TFL Vendor'.

I checked with Transport for London. They confirm that BNS Logistics are listed on their system 'Bravo' but that's a formality, as anyone can get on the TfL vendor list by filling in some forms, there is no vetting or approval by TfL. You have to be registered prior to being paid by TfL as a vendor.

I think we have a case for misrepresentation and fraud here. Although a lawyer might weasel out of it as their letterhead says simply says 'approved TFL vendor' (uppercase) and you could argue they don't mean Transport for London which is usually written TfL (with a lower case F.

Hindes and Hartley at the same address as Collins and Casey make the same claim to be a TFL vendor but there isn't any listing for them with TfL procurement.

Transport for London have BNS Logistics listed as a vendor of taxis and chauffeurs but advised that as it was inactive it was now scheduled for deletion. To their knowledge BNS Logistics had never been an actual supplier to TfL.

Companies House

This is the Companies House listing for BNS Logistics showing the dissolved status which ties to the addresses given for Collins and Casey and Hindes and Hartley and is confirmed by Transport for London as their vendor address for BNS Logistics.

The officers of the company were listed as Paul Francis Burke and Neil Clifford Scorer.

VAT registration

Collins and Casey letterhead has a VAT registration number.

The number is registered to BNS Logistics Ltd at the same address given by Collins and Casey.

The Collins and Casey letterhead claims to be part of the BNS Logistics Groups.

Trust A Trader

On the Collins and Casey letterhead they cited their membership of TrustATrader.com and used their logo.

The website has no listing for them. I contacted the website. They confirmed that at the time of the invoice that Collins and Casey were registered with them but were no longer recommended. They advised that Collins and Casey is on their list of companies which are "no longer invited to renew" but citing data protection they could not provide any further details.

Hindes and Hartley

This is a screenshot of a listing for a 'company' Hindes and Hartley (no such company at Companies House) which is listed at the same address as Collins and Casey.

It also claims to also be a TFL Approved Vendor.

On LinkedIn, Hindes and Hartley claim a connection to the the same BNS Logistics Group as Collins and Casey. Fallon Construction is either the Texan or Irish contractor, both large concerns, so perhaps one of Hindes or Hartley once worked for them?

Address issues

This is a Google Steetview of the address registered at Companies House of 'BNS Logistics Limited' which Collins and Casey provided as their address. On their letterhead they declared themselves to be a part of BNS Logistics Group. The Collins and Casey VAT number is also listed to BNS Logistics Ltd.

You can see on the faded paint the words BNS Cars

There are many other directory listings for Collins & Casey which have a different Wembley address but the same phone number as the letterhead such as these on https://uk.bisnzz.com and Yelp.

Such listings provide no guarantees of validity.
