The problem

In 2013 a roofing company (not actually a limited company) called Collins and Casey charged my elderly mother in law £1200 to fix a leak in her roof. They promised a warranty for eight years "against any further water ingress" signed by a Mr G. Collins.

In 2014 the roof continued to leak and it became apparent after numerous and extensive inquiries that Mr Collins or Collins and Casey could no longer be found. Their emails bounce and nobody answers the phone. The address given is an empty shop.

This blog has been set up to document the claim against 'Collins and Casey' et. al. for a refund as it has been necessary to engage other builders urgently to rectify their work. Because of the difficulty of removing the fibreglass matting they slapped on there rather than fixing the problem, the estimates for the work exceed £1300

  2. Your invoice may have the signature of the name Collins, but I can state with no doubt that is the hand writing of one Brian Casey.Casey moves from address to address and is constantly changing his phone number so that no one can trace him.
